Pastor Bob Hassel

Pastor Bob Hassel came to Faith Baptist Church of Champaign in 1986. At that time, he was called to serve as assistant pastor. After four and one half years of serving in this capacity, the senior pastor moved away and Pastor Hassel served as interim pastor for approximately six months. During this time of looking for a senior pastor, the Lord seemed to be leading the church to consider Pastor Hassel. In April of 1991, Faith Baptist Church extended the call for Pastor Hassel to become the senior pastor. After praying and seeking the Lord for two weeks, he accepted the call and has been serving faithfully in this position since that time.

He has been married to his wife, Lynn, for twenty-seven years and has four children. Rebekah is married and works as a church secretary in Lancaster, California. Josh is currently a junior at West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. Jonathan is a senior in high school, and Joel is in elementary school.

Pastor Hassel attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in English Bible and a Master of Science in English Bible two years later.

Pastor John Guglielmetti

Pastor John Guglielmetti came to Faith Baptist Church in December of 2010 as the assistant pastor. Pastor John was raised in the suburbs of Detroit where he gave his life to follow Christ at age 19. He then attended Bible college to study for the ministry. Since graduating from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in 2000, he has served in the ministry as a youth pastor and a senior pastor. He has a desire to work with the youth and help in the music and outreach ministries at the church.

He has been married to his wife, Dianna, for ten years and has three children, Antonio, Julianna, and John Carlo.
